Tepia Co.
Tepia Co. is a custom software development firm located in Orange County that was looking to refresh its brand and messaging strategy in an attempt to better connect with its clients and, ultimately, grow its business.
We worked with Tepia to draft an entirely new messaging strategy through a deep analysis of our brand core, character, competitive landscape, and target customers.
We then re-designed the entire Tepia website to align with the new messaging and brand guidelines.
Connecting Needs with Capabilities
Any marketing material should be looked at as a conversation between the brand and the consumer. A good messaging strategy should be able to identify the customers’ needs and triggers and speak directly to them with concrete solutions. Rather than rattling off features and capabilities, we worked to tailor Tepia’s messaging so that it focused on the client benefits.
During our dive into Tepia’s customers, we discovered three unique segments, each with their own pain points and values.
In order to accommodate each client group, we designed a hero slider which would rotate messaging that aligned with each.
Service vs Products
One pitfall that we observed many competitors suffer was an overemphasis on product, rather than on the customer or the services provided. Most clients may realize that they need some sort of custom software solution, but many do not know where to start. By emphasizing workshops, ongoing support, and a consultative approach, Tepia is now positioned as a much more approachable technology partner.
